Cancellation Policy

At ZingoEats, we understand that sometimes orders need to be canceled. This policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations are permitted and refunds are processed.

1. Customer Cancellations

  • Customers can cancel their order within 5 minutes of placing it to receive a full refund.
  • If the restaurant has already accepted or started preparing the order, cancellations will not be allowed, and no refund will be issued.
  • Orders cancelled after 5 minutes are non-refundable.

2. Restaurant Cancellations

  • Restaurants may cancel an order within 2 minutes of receiving it without incurring any charges.
  • If a restaurant cancels an order after 2 minutes, the customer will receive a full refund, and the restaurant may be subject to penalties based on ZingoEats’ service agreement.
  • Restaurants are required to provide a valid reason for cancellation (e.g., ingredient unavailability, operational issues).

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds for customer cancellations (within 5 minutes) or restaurant-initiated cancellations will be processed within 5-10 working days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method. Cash-on-delivery (COD) orders will be refunded as ZingoEats credits or vouchers.

4. Special Cases & Disputes

  • If an order is cancelled due to technical issues (e.g., payment failure, system error), a full refund will be issued.
  • ZingoEats reserves the right to investigate repeated cancellations by customers or restaurants to prevent misuse.
  • Any disputes related to cancellations will be resolved based on available evidence, including order timestamps and system logs.
